Every person on our stage and behind it is a volunteer. Whether you have done fifty shows or none, there is a place for you here.
Auditions
Step into the light
We hold open auditions for every main stage production and for our spring evening of one act plays. Newcomers are genuinely welcome. If you have never been on a stage before, this is a great place to start.
How it works
- We post each audition here, on Facebook, in local papers, and to the mailing list.
- Show up at the listed time. Most auditions are readings from the script.
- The director posts the cast list.
- Rehearsals run for several weeks before opening night.

We need hands for every show
No experience needed for most of these. We will teach you. Pick what sounds fun and we will be in touch before the next production.
Future seasons
Pitch a play, or direct one
The board is always reading for upcoming seasons. Tell us about a script you love or a show you want to direct.

- Our spring one act evening is a great first step for new directors, and selected plays go on to the Maine Association of Community Theaters One Act Festival.
